Javascript? Java? What's the difference?
Javascript is a scripting language which most recent browsers support without the need of plugins. Javascript allows one to add some interactivity within a web page, as well as add some logic.

Java is a language developed by Sun and normally requires a plugin in order to run it. Some browsers offer the Java plugin directly, but others require you to download the plugin before you can run what's called an "applet".
